We are pleased to inform you that the after-school enrollment for YMCA at Sun Valley for the 2024-25 School Year is open! For tuition-based registration, grades TK-5th Please apply here. 

If you believe that you qualify under one of the criteria below, please apply here . Our San Rafael City Schools District’s after-care programs are primarily funded by the State of California through their Expanded Learning Opportunity Program. Through this program, we are required to prioritize families enrolling in after school programs under the below criteria.

• Homeless/Foster/Migrant Youth 

• English Language Learner

• Free or Reduced-Price Meal Eligibility

• Siblings of students with the above criteria at the same school

Enrollment forms do not guarantee a spot in the after-school program and enrollment priority will be given to students who need to be in the program 5 days a week for more than 2 hours a day. All other families will be prioritized in the following order:

• Students needing 5 days (in ascending order, Transitional Kindergarten to 5th grade)

• Students needing 3 days (in ascending order, Transitional Kindergarten to 5th grade)

• Siblings

All enrollment forms are reviewed by staff and families will be notified of their status beginning May 6.
