Dear San Rafael City Schools Families,
Welcome back to school! As we begin the 2025–26 year, I’m excited to share how HeadsUp will continue to support our students and schools—and how you can be part of that impact.
This fall, we are launching our annual family giving campaign. We know that many of you are also asked to contribute to your school’s PTO or PTA. Both are essential. PTOs and PTAs directly fund site-specific needs that strengthen your individual school community. HeadsUp complements that by funding programs that reach every student across all of San Rafael City Schools.
With your support, this year HeadsUp will provide:

Arts enrichment for every TK–5 student, delivered in partnership with Youth in Arts, the district, and elementary PTO/As

After-school enrichment opportunities at the middle school

Student wellness and mental health services at the middle and high school Wellness Centers

College and career readiness opportunities for high school students

Teacher and staff grants that spark creativity and innovation in classrooms
Together, these programs touch the lives of more than 7,000 students districtwide, helping to ensure equity, opportunity, and enrichment for all.
